The Year 12 students of Wellington High School have commenced their HSC exams, along with thousands of other students from across New South Wales.

There are 27 Year 12 students taking part in the exams, which commenced on October 17 and will run over a five week period.
The Wellington Times spoke with students after they completed their English Paper 2 exam on October 18.

Elliott McMahon said the exam "wasn't that bad."
"It's not as stressful as everyone makes it out to be," he added.
Elliott's advice for others was to do a lot of study beforehand, but since completing the English Paper 1 and 2 he said he was "feeling happy."
"Two down, six to go," he said.
Heidi Parkes said preparation was key and after getting the first exam done her stress levels had dropped.
She encouraged other students at High School to go onto Year 12.
