The Central Wendouree bowler celebrated her 80th birthday by completing a tandem skydive at 15,000 feet.
Strownix, who was accompanied by her son Gordon and granddaughter Kendall, experienced a one-minute free-fall before floating to the ground by parachute.
"I would do it all again," she said upon landing.
"It was great."
The heart-stopping act was hardly a first for the fearless 80-year-old.
Ten years ago she celebrated her 70th birthday by climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The Courier understands planning is already underway for another death-defying trip for her next milestone.
And it is no surprise.
Fitness is a main priority for Strownix. Since giving up golf, she exercises regularly at the gym, walks around the lake and plays bowls in the Monday and Saturday Pennants.
She also still finds time for dressmaking, cake decorating, gardening, race-walking and dancing.
