First aid trainer George Chapman was at the hotel on Friday installing the defibrillator that was donated by Bodangora Wind Farm.
Cow and Calf owner Kellee Gersbach said she was privileged to have received the defibrillator.
"This life saving device will be great to have should it ever need to be used it," Ms Gersbach added.
General manager of Bodangora Wind Farm, Michael Bullock said it was a great program and a great initiative.
Earlier this year Mr Chapman explained that his goal is to have at least fifteen automated external defibrillator units installed in the main shopping areas of Wellington.

They come with an alarmed cabinet, prep unit - consisting of gloves, shears and a face mask - and a window sticker.
Other venues in Wellington that have had an automated external defibrillator installed include the Lion Of Waterloo.
Mr Chapman has also been working with surrounding villages such as Stuart Town, Mumbil, Geurie and Wongarbon to have defibrillators installed.
