When a NSW Lotteries official contacted the man to break the life-changing news, he said he had no idea he was a winner.
At first he asked if the official was serious.
"Oh my god," he said.
"I am stunned!"
"Please tell me you aren't joking.
"You're not wrong? This is very surreal."

When asked how he planned to spend the $200,000, the man said that while he'd need some time to think, he did have some ideas.
"I need to get over the shock. I have no idea what I will do with it," he laughed.
"I will probably do some renovations on my house. That's something I have been wanting to do for a while!
"The rest I'll probably keep for a rainy day.
"I might have to do some celebrating tonight."
"You always hope to win, but you never think it will happen!"
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry of 10 consecutive numbers at Dunedoo Newsagency.
"Times have been tough here in Dunedoo because of the drought, so we are thrilled it went to a local customer," Dunedoo Newsagency owner Adrian Lane said.
"All our customers are so happy for our winner. It's great news for our small country town and for our community.
"We wish our winner all the very best with his prize and hope he enjoys it."
