The Wellington Rotary Markets return for their August event, featuring all the packed out stalls featuring locally made produce, crafts and other desirable items for sale throughout the day, as well as plenty of community attractions and entertainment for the children.

The Western Plains Soccer Association Zone soccer gala day will be held in Nyngan this Saturday at Frank Smith Oval. Clubs from Trangie, Tottenham and Tottenham and Warren will be taking part in a round robin competition.
- Amazing YAMATO DRUMMERS are coming to Dubbo
Dubbo, August 26
Yamato - The Drummers of Japan are set to perform in Dubbo on August 26 from 7.30 pm at the Dubbo Macquarie Regional Theatre and Convention Centre. Tickets can be purchased from the theatre's box office from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday, up to one hour prior to the show.

The sixth annual Arts and Sculpture Festival will bring all the wonder and creativity of the region's best, and undiscovered, artists to the Hermitage Hill once again to display some artistic marvels through the theme of Sound and Movement. This year's event will also feature a special performance by nationally renowned chainsaw artist Rob Bast.
