ONE person is missing as firefighters remain on scene battling a house fire in Wellington.
Firefighters received the emergency call out at 6.34am on Friday with reports that a home in Zouch Street, Wellington was alight.
Wellington Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) Captain Mark Moroney said upon arrival the house was fully engulfed by fire.
"We received the call to the house fire with reports a person was possibly missing," he said.
"Due to the severity of the fire crews were unable to make initial entry to complete a search.
"There is a single occupant of the house who has been absent for a period of time."
