Ms Beazley visited with her husband Dennis Wilson to see first-hand the training facilities and state of the art St John's Ambulance NSW vehicles.
They were also given a tour of the division and saw a CPR demonstration by the cadets.,
The meeting also gave the young cadets, who hail from Wellington, Geurie, Dubbo and Bathurst, the chance to talk about why they decided to join the organisation.
Cadet leader John Anthony said it was great having the NSW Governor in Wellington to see what they do.
"St John is all about first aid, saving lives and empowering young people to do that in the community," he said.
"It is good to have the NSW Governor out here at one of the rural divisions and having a look at what happens, we really appreciate her coming out."

Ms Beazley said it was "more than impressive" seeing what the young, volunteers cadets do.
"It's quite a small program so there's a lot of peer pressure for them to come in to it. In itself that just shows you that these kids are going to be leaders in their own field," she said.
Leadership is more about doing, the NSW Governor said, which is what the cadets are already showing not only at a grasroots level, but an early age.
Ms Beazley said St John Ambulance was so important in regional NSW as they attend many various events.
"Rural environments, regional towns, big and little, have to have within them all their own support mechanisms...," she said.
"When I asked the cadets what made them join, while they had their different reasons, but the core to it was they like to help and to be able to help in a practical way and have the skill to help to me seems to be very significant.
"But at the end of the day it's that internal support within a community that is enabled to look after itself."
Before Ms Beazley stopped by Wellington she was in Dubbo attending a NAIDOC Week event and at Taronga Western Plains Zoo for speaking to the business chamber.
"We really have enjoyed every minute of it," she said.
