The community based organisation have opened their NAIDOC celebrations to the wider community and to children to participate in the activities that have included mural artwork, cooking traditional Aboriginal food and games.
On Wednesday, Market Fitness was the place to be with traditional Aboriginal games being held at the centre.
The Wellington Times spoke to Colleen Allen from WINS at the gym, who said the kids were really enjoying themselves.
"They love it. It makes them really proud of who they are," she said.
