After the successful 'Heart safe City' campaign in Dubbo, First Aid Trainer George Chapman urges the villages to get behind the expanding project.
Wellington is already on its way to becoming a safer city after the Lion of Waterloo tavern became the first location to have a brand new Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) installed as part of the Red Cross Australia campaign.
If villages can raise $5000 towards the overall cost, Dubbo Regional Council who will look to subsidise the purchase of an AED.

DRC councillor Ben Shields said it was crucial villages in the region are not left behind and Council was more than happy to be a part of the initiative to provide an AED for each community.
Mr Chapman said with bigger distances in regional areas it can take longer for professional medical help to arrive.
"In a cardiac arrest situation every minute is critical and defibrillators can be used by anyone, even if they have never been trained as they are easy to use and provide a step-by-step guide," he said.
