The free screening will feature the Warner Bros. animated film 'Small Foot' and will be free for all entrants who are encouraged to bring along their own seating and enjoy the outdoor screening in Kennard Park.
The gate will open at 5pm on Friday April 12 and will attempt to raise awareness of the problem of youth homelessness in Wellington.

"It's something we do to provide a safe family friendly environment were the youth specialist homelessness service and we want to raise awareness and provide a name and face for people who might know someone who fits the criteria of who we're looking to help," Organiser Lincoln Peckham said.
After that, the events will continue on Monday April 15 with a 3 on 3 basketball competition held at Wellington High School.
The modified street basketball competition will use a half court configuration and offer a free lunch for those playing with plenty of prizes to be won after the tournament kicks off at 10am and runs through to 2pm.
The competition will be open to under 18's looking to test out their basketball skills against the competition.
On Tuesday April 16, aspiring extreme sports fanatics will get a chance to develop their BMX, skateboard and scooter skills at a clinic touring the Wellington skate park from 1pm - 5pm.
Aficionados will have to bring along their own scooters, skateboards and bikes to participate, but they'll get a chance to test out their skills alongside others, as well get to enjoy music, pizza and prize giveaways.
On Wednesday April 17 a one day young filmmakers boot camp will be held at the Wellington Library, participants will have to pay $10 and can book online at Eventbrite.
Participants will get a chance to learn from Dubbo Filmmakers how to create a full short film just on their personal smart phone or tablet device.
The course will run from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
Then Wellington's Youth Week will wrap with a day of mini-golf in Cameron Park, the event starts at 10.30am and runs until 2.30 and is free for all participants who might be interested in playing throughout the day.
