TAFE Wellington is opening up it's roster of classes to include learning opportunities in areas like business administration, tourism and I.T. with the aid of a new regional and remote education program called Western Connect.

The Connect program will allow classes that otherwise would have been discontinued due to low class size in rural and regional areas to continue through video conferencing technology.
Classes that use the Western Connect structure will combine practical, hands-on sessions with classes set up to teleconference with other, larger classes across Western NSW.

Deputy Regional General Manager, Adam Bennett, said TAFE NSW will continue to invest in technological solutions in order to provide regional students with the skills they need to attain employment.
"This is an example of how Australia's largest training provider responds to the skills needs of the communities that it serves by delivering innovative learning solutions," Mr Bennett said.

- Statement of Attainment in MYOB Essentials Pack
- Certificate III in Community Pharmacy
- Certificate IV in Business Administration
- Certificate III in Hospitality
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
- Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology
- Certificate III in Tourism
- Certificate III in Workplace, Health and Safety
