The committee have been busy preparing the track, organising entertainment for everyone young and old, and have made a few changes to this years program to keep the crowds celebrating across the two days of racing.

April 6 and 7 will see the Wellington Race Club host it’s world famous festival, including the crowning jewel – the Wellington Boot. Run in mid autumn each year, the carnival attracts some of the best trainers, jockeys and horses from across the country with 14 races held over the two days, while visitors and locals alike get to enjoy not only the best country racing has to offer, but also a feast of family fun, live music, rides, competitions, delicious catering and fashion.
