All those other “0” birthdays that have occurred so far and those still to come this year – 39, 49, 59, 69 & 79 must have been good years for many of our golfing families.
PENNANTS
What an effort by our Mens teams with Divisions 1, 2 & 3 into semi-finals and 4 missing out on a countback.
Unfortunately on Sunday Division 1 & 2 run came to an end by Bathurst in Parkes losing 3 games to 2 each but Division 3 were successful over Parkes 3 games to 2 at Duntryleague.
We now cheer on Division 3 who are up against Mudgee in the Final which will take place in Duntryleague.
Congratulations and well done to all players and team captains – Elton Keeffe, Nobby Naveau (a cheerio call and hope you are on the mend after your surprise visit to hospital), Rod McMahon and Rod Irwin.
What a mighty effort.
