Jessica Gough and Jake Lynch are both putting on their runners and hitting the streets in support of the Cancer Council effort with the goal of raising money in tribute to their family members who have been stricken with the disease.
"I fund raise where possible for the cancer council. In 2015 I lost my Grandmother very suddenly to cancer. And I want to my fund raising efforts to be in her honour," Ms Gough said.

"I have met cancer sufferers and survivors and if I can further more funding or awareness or just to participate in something close to me heart," Mr Lynch said.
"It’s the least I can do."
The pair have already began tallying up kilometres, having ordered smart watches to help them keep track of their efforts.
Donations raised through the effort will go directly to the Cancer Council to fund important cancer research and the effort has already raised nearly $900,000 dollars across the country.
"Jake and I aim to walk 200km over the month of March and the goal is to raise $500, but always aim above and beyond." Ms Gough said.
Those looking to donate can do so at Jespresso, or online at the March Charge online.
