Andrew Gee says not focusing on Broad replacement

CALARE MP Andrew Gee says he is not getting ahead of himself as a frontbench position.

Nationals leader Michael McCormack has not ruled out Mr Gee as a replacement for fallen Victorian MP Andrew Broad in the coming days.

But Mr Gee, who is still on leave, said it was “all just speculation”.

“Michael has many good people to choose from and it’s not something I have any say in or control over,” he said.

“I remain focused on delivering key projects to make life better for the people of our region.”

Mr Broad resigned as the assistant minister to the deputy prime minister after a scandal involving a younger woman.
