The theft occurred at a property near Tullamore just west of Dubbo and Peak Hill.

NSW Police State Rural Crime Co-ordinator Detective Inspector Cameron Whiteside said the sheep were two, three, and four-year-old merino cross dohne ewes.

“[They] were last seen on the property on December 21, 2018 and noticed gone on December 23, 2018,” he said.

“The ewes are July shorn and have a capital `M’ ear mark in the right ear [see photo above].

“The ewes also have an ear tag depicting the number NE141689. The ear tag colours are mainly blue, black and white.

“Several dohne rams are also with the mob.”

Detective Inspector Whiteside said a “theft of this magnitude requires significant planning” and he urged anyone with information to come forward to police.
