Curious Creatures is the theme for the January School Holidays with lots of activities to keep you entertained starting with the Engineering Station for week one January 7-8 from 11-1pm, January 9-11 from 2-4pm, when you can design, build and create towers, bridges, transformers, castles and so much more only using the materials provided.

Week two is Waste to Art January 14-15 from 11-1pm, January 16-18 from 2-4pm, recycling other people’s trash to create treasured works of art. Week three will be Lego Challenges January 21-22 from 11-1pm, January 23-25 from 2-4pm, test your Lego skills against other enthusiasts.
Summer Reading Club
The Summer Reading Club is off and running until the January 31, if you’re between 1-18 years old come on in and join in the fun of summer holidays.
When children register at the Library they will receive a Summer Reading Club pack, which includes the book log and activities to enjoy, and curious creatures to create over the holiday period.
There are also lots of bonuses available for reading and listening to books, including a book prize for participants who complete their first reading log.
A range of fun activities will also be held for children at the Library throughout the summer holidays. The Summer Reading Club is a national program to help maintain literacy levels in children during holiday periods.
