The fund dolls out $50,000 each year for projects that deliver a benefit to the Wellington or Bodangora community.
Wellington Girl Guides was awarded the highest chuck of the funding at $5000 to build an access ramp and landing on the side of the Girl Guides hall.
The Wellington PCYC was awarded $2830 for the Wellington Eagles Basketball team to attend the Calvin Bruton Basketball Competition in Canberra.
Funding was also approved for: St Mary’s Catholic School ($1500), Bodangora Reserve Trust ($1000), Wellington Men’s Shed ($2500), Wellington Cowboys Junior Rugby League ($2500). Provision of Aged Persons Accommodation ($2500), Wellington District Cricket Association ($2500), Wellington Golf Club ($2170) and parukrun Australia ($2500).
