A 60-year-old woman has been arrested and charged for drug charges after a search warrant uncovered heroin, cash, jewellery and entertainment devices.

Orana Mid-Western Police District crime coordinator Sergeant Jill Gibson said police conducted the search warrant on December 7 about 11am.
During the search at a Simpson Lane Wellington address police seized 2.88 grams of heroin and a number of other prohibited drugs.
Police also found $4000 cash, jewellery and entertainment equipment and other tools which Sergeant Gibson said they believed were stolen.
Sergeant Gibson said police arrested the 60-year-old female and charged her with possession of prohibited drugs, 2 counts of supply of prohibited drugs and 2 counts of goods suspected of being stolen.
She was granted conditional bail and is scheduled to appear before Wellington Local Court on January 22.
