Picture Book is A Walk in the Bush, Eve Pownall Award is Do Not Lick This Book and the Crichton Award for New Illustrators is Tintinnabula. Macquarie Regional Library holds copies of the shortlisted books and you can reserve them free of charge until they are available to borrow at the conclusion of Book Week.
Story box Library
Story box Library is a fantastic, free online database available through the library’s website. Featuring a range of some of Australia’s best authors, illustrators, actors, comedians and television personalities reading children’s stories, this great resource is ideal for parents and carer’s to share the love of reading with their children.
Just visit the library website at www.mrl.nsw.gov.au to log into the Story Box database through the online library tab and using your library card start watching some of your favourite stories come to life.

Not a member yet? Just call into the library with your identification, fill out a form and you too can enjoy the many benefits of being a member of the library.
Including borrowing and returning items to any branch of Macquarie Regional Library, reserve items from the library collection, download audiobooks and e-books, access online databases, access your account online and check the status of your current loans.
You may borrow up to 20 items at any time, with a limit of 5 DVDs and 5 CDs within these 20 items. Membership to the library is free just visit the library for more information and join up today.
