Bodangora has donated $500 to help run the programs. Site operations manager Gavin Paul recently visited the breakfast club in action.
Last week, Bodangora Wind Farm delivered its first generation to the National Electricity Market.
Project manager Stuart Black said the project was now moving on to the commissioning phase.
“This marks an important milestone for the development; with mechanical and associated works taking shape, along with live commissioning of the turbines,” Mr Black said.
“The connection to the grid represents the commencement of the first large-scale wind farm in the area, contributing to future power generation.”
The turbine installation is continuing on-site with more to be commissioned in the coming weeks.
Each turbine can generate up to 3.4 MW of power, with the wind farm providing enough output to supply power to up to 49,000 homes each year when fully commissioned.
