Federal Member for Clare Andrew Gee has encouraged all not-for-profit organisations to apply for the grants and make the work of our volunteers easier, safer and more enjoyable.
“Volunteers are the lifeblood of our country communities and by continuing to help each other and work together, we are building a stronger and safer electorate,” Mr Gee said.
“Around 22 organisations in Calare were among the 2,690 groups nationally who benefited from the Volunteer Grants in 2016, including the Cudal & District Men’s Shed, the Wellington CWA, the Portland Men’s Shed, and the Mudgee P&C Association.”
