A shortlist of the best entries in each category is made and winners selected from there.
Macquarie Regional Library holds copies of the shortlisted books which will be available to borrow at the conclusion of Book Week.
The library will be running a Children’s Book Week colouring competition for children from kinder to year six with great prizes to be won.
Completed entries need to be returned to your local branch of Macquarie Regional Library by Friday August 17.

Australian Women’s Weekly, Better Homes and Gardens, Money, Good Health, Koori Mail, Organic Gardener, Owner Builder and Handyman magazine are just a few of the titles the library holds.

Adult Non-Fiction
The Wind in my Hair by Masih Alinejad: As a teenager, Masih was arrested for political activism and discovered she was pregnant while in police custody.
She was released and married quickly, following her husband to Tehran – where she was served divorce papers.
Masih spent nine years struggling to regain custody of her beloved son and remains in forced exile from her homeland.
