It’s hard to believe that was 22 years ago now.
There was plenty happening, with $8000 raised for the Salvation Army’s Red Shield Appeal and the opening of the Wellington Phosphate Mine. There was also plenty of birthdays, weddings and anniversaries being celebrated.
