Ladies News
Firstly a huge thank you to the ladies who could turn up on Sunday to assist with the Men’s Open Tournament, they loved the food you and Wok prepared – well done. Last Wednesday saw the local round of the Golf NSW Keno 4BBB versus Par Event with Marg Hollow and Noella Baker having a magnificent + seven (unfortunately they cannot go to Regional Finals Day).
Runners up, Kathy Martin, Marie Cornish + four, Jan Payne, Gae Drew + three who will be representing the Club at Trangie in August in the Western Districts four Ball Finals Day. The next four Wednesday’s starting today will see the Club Championships being held. Today is predicted to be a “tad” cool and hopefully the predicted rain has come overnight. Lets hope everyone can play each round in their perspective Grades.
Cumnock Tournament: What a great “roll-up” 46 players with Jeanie Frappell, Kathy Bell, Denise Haesler and Pauline Potts representing the Club. Kathy returned home with a Raffle Prize whilst the rest enjoyed their “day out”. Rachel Krarup (Yeoval) played well and took home a prize.
