Parkes Police have made another arrest as part of Operation Foment – an investigation into the sale of drugs in Parkes and the wider Central West.

Tamara Whitla (33) of Grenfell Street, Parkes, was charged with 10 offences including deal with property proceeds of crime, knowingly partake in criminal group, four counts of supply cannabis, and four counts of supply prohibited drug.
Police allege the offences occurred between December 1, 2017 and March 6, 2018.
She was granted bail in Parkes Local Court on Tuesday to reappear on Monday, July 16.
After a 12-month investigation, Operation Foment culminated in the arrest of five men on March 22, after 50 police officers executed six search warrants in Parkes, Forbes and Bogan Gate
They were charged with a combined 218 drug related offences.
Whitla was also charged with assaulting a 27-year-old man with cerebral palsy.
The assault is alleged to have occurred on the Dunedoo Road, Wellington, at 2am on Saturday, February 24.
She will also face this charge on July 16.
