My Fair Lady will grace the stage of Wellington’s Civic Centre this week with co-director, Noel Grimes, revealing a significant amount of interest has been shown ahead of the event.
Of the two performances Mr Grimes said the dinner show on Saturday night has been the favourite among bookings made predominately by local people.
Mr Grimes anticipates both shows to be a success.
“Live theatre is what it’s all about,” he said. “We don’t get a lot of it in Wellington and of course the show itself is a very popular show, it’s so well-known and has great songs.”
WATS will present My Fair Lady on June 2 at 6pm and June 3 from 2pm for the Matinee. Call WATS on 6845 1700 for more details.
