Those nerves are in a frenzy right now.
Staggs has been named to play at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night when the Brisbane Broncos host the Sydney Roosters in round 11.
Staggs, 19, has been killing it with the Redcliffe Dolphins in the Intrust Super Cup since playing his first game of the 2018 season in round three.
His impact has been immense, kicking 32 goals and scoring five tries as he bounced between the backrow and the centres, and that impact and versatility hasn’t gone unnoticed by Broncos mastercoach Wayne Bennett.
The premiership-winning Cowboys under 18s skipper will make his NRL debut off the bench for Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium against the Sydney Roosters, kick-off is at 7.55pm.
