The communities of Wellington and surrounding villages set their alarms early on Wednesday morning to honour the diggers and veterans who make up the Anzacs.
A Dawn Service took place from 6am in Wellington, with services in Eumungerie, Gollan, Stuart Town, Geurie and Mumbil taking place between 8.30am and midday.

Wellington held a second service from 10.55am onward, including a march.
Following the march the pubs and clubs were opening up for a much loved round of ‘Two-Up’.
The traditional war-time game can only legally be played on three days of the year, Anzac Day, Rememberance Day (November 11) and Victory in the Pacific Day (August 15).
