Ms Waser rode the bike around the event, dressed in a Wild Western steampunk outfit created from what she had in her closet and a few items from friends.
It was only the second time in her life she had dressed up, and her first trip to Ironfest.
"All you need is a corset, and then raid your cupboard for some bling and lace, and your winter gloves.
"This in my hair is my winter scarf, and this was from the sewing box,” she said, pointing to the detail hanging from the back of her hair.
"I've got my hiking boots, and target leggings and top, and a skirt that was on clearance, and then you just pile it on.”
People from all over Australia turned attended the event, with plenty appearing in some variety of costume.
Many opted for the traditional medieval or steampunk themes, while others embraced the headline Wild West theme chosen for 2018.
Throughout the day there were exhibitions ranging from blacksmithing, to American Civil War recreations and jousting.
There was also a World War Two demonstration that started with allied troops and machinery going up against Nazis with tanks, but ended with an invasion by Amazons, Vikings and a lone (but brave) Celtic warrior.
