The Same-Same-Different Youth Celebration turned up the volume and kept kids entertained at the Macquarie Regional Library car park in the first of several events planned for the week.
It was an activity to mark Youth Week, recognising achievements and showcasing the support available to help meet life’s challenges.
Local services joined in on the celebrations, including Mission Australia which provided an impressive giant rock climbing wall which was undeniably the highlight of the day.
Dubbo Regional Council’s Christy White said the event attracted a great turnout of local youth.
“It is fantastic to work with all the services for Dubbo and Wellington which have made the day come together,” she said.
“It is great to get kids of all ages, particularly older kids, out and active while enjoying their town.”
