Junior Rugby Union
Our under 13s had the bye on Saturday and will not be back in action until after the school holidays. Our 15s travelled to Dubbo to take on the Blues who are one of the heavyweights of the competition, we were fortunate to have Brad Obrien and Coran Blackhall home for the holidays their aggressive attack and defence kept us going forward all day showing our younger players what it takes to achieve success in this comp. Dubbo scored first but the Redboars hit back soon after when Cody Reynolds found some space on the left side to score a great try. The Blues then put two more on giving them a 21 to 7 lead at the break. Dubbo scored first in the second half and we could not reel them back in even though we scored twice more through Sam Ryan and Brad Obrien it was a real never say die effort that left us super happy with the result. Final score Dubbo 40 Redboars 19

Our under 17s did not fair well when they met a white hot Orange Emus on their home turf, the Redbacks were never in the game and ended up coping an absolute flogging which is very disapointing considering the high exspectatations we have for this team. Wellington did manage to score one try to ease the pain but it was to little to late, it is however early in the year and i would exspect to see a very much improved football side when they get back on the paddock after the break. Final score Orange 57 Wellington 5. Kenny’s Excited
