The 40-year-old woman was arrested at Geurie in January.
She is charged with the murder of a 20-month-old boy in March 2015 at Neilrex, about 60km south of Coonabarabran.
Strike Force Toora was set up to investigate the death.
The woman was refused bail when she first faced court in January.
On Wednesday the matter was mentioned before magistrate Gary Wilson.
It was adjourned to Dubbo on April 26.
The accused remains remanded in custody and is listed to appear via audio-visual link.
