Wellington Golf Club saw 45 golfers hit the golf course last Saturday with a four Ball Aggregate Stableford being played plus the Semi-Finals of the KEIRLE'S Pharmacy Summer competition as well as the repacharge kindly sponsored by Knott's Rural Supplies.

This Saturday event is a four Ball Multiplier plus the finals of the KEIRLE'S Pharmacy Summer competition and Knott's Rural Supplies repacharge match's as well. Four teams in the KEIRLE'S Pharmacy summer competition still have not paid there starting fee, if they can please pay this week it would be very much appreciated.
Central West Pennants results from last Sunday saw Wellington Golf Club taking on Wentworth golf club and winning in all Divisions, Division 1 won 3/2, Division 2 won 3/2, Division 3 won 3/2 and Division 4 won 3/2 keeping there undefeated run still going, this week Wellington have the week off but need everyone that can help cook and serve breakfast and lunch for all the visiting team's. Five golfers ventured to Orange Ex-Services Golf Club to play in the Veterans golf day with some golfers really enjoying themselves with good rounds. Anybody that can help out at Vintage Fair March 4, please call Marie Cornish.
The winners of last Saturday's event were brand new members Matt Reid-Nicholas Cosier and they smashed the course with a combined score of 78 points. Runners up were John Southwell-Barry Jeffrey with John having the day of his life having 47 points on his own, there final points were 75.
Ball competition winners were Matt Reid-Nicholas Cosier 78 points, Barry Jeffrey-John Southwell 75 points, Paul Hannelly-Gary McCarroll 74 points, Josh Bulloch-Reid Armstrong 71 points, Gary Cusack-James Cusack 71 points, Tim Parker-Daniel Baxter 71 points, Steven McCarroll-Peter Payne 71 points.
Ron Stubblefield Toyota terrific tee shot on the third it went to Kurt Cusack 4.6 meters, on the eighth it went to Gary Cusack 90 centre meters, in the 14th it went to Matt Reid two meters, on the 16th it went to Kevin Reid 2.72 meters.
Gersbachs Mechanical nearest the pin in two shots in the seventh hole went to Luke Milgate 1.25 meters away. McDonald's biggest whack in A grade went to Matt Reid with a whack of 274 meters and in B grade it went to Rod Irwin. Brent's NFI award winners last week were David Naveau and Gary McNaughton who combined for the lousy score of 52 points, remembering that John South well had 47 in his own.
Results of the Semi-Finals of the KEIRLE'S Pharmacy summer competition saw Von Zipper defeat Printers, the Bye defeated Kilker Watts, Soldiers Club defeated Bak/Cusack's, Phoenix defeated Montefiore's Maulers.

Diggers Swimming Club
Sixteen members and two visitors faced the starter last Tuesday in our weekly point score with Terry Dray continuing his current good form taking out the 30 metre event being 0.01 outside his nominated time, while Sam Lemon had his first win of the season taking out the 50 metre event being 0.24 outside his time. Isaiah Hill and Charlotte Ryan won the Junior Events. Nick Knowles and Josh Wykes combined to win the Brace Relay being 1.07 outside their time. Western District Championships – Dubbo Sunday, February 11. There has been some major changes to the results reported in last Wednesdays news. Seventeen Members took to the pool in the Western District AIF Championships in Dubbo last Sunday.
Di Donnelly and Terry Dray made the final of the 30 metre open handicap, Colin Sheridan and John Donnelly made the final of the 50 open handicap. John Donnelly successfully defended the 50 metre Clive Roots Memorial Handicap being 0.47 outside his nominated time. This will be presented to him at next Tuesdays BBQ. Melissa Frappell finished third in the 50 metre Womens Scratch event. Aaron Edwards finished third in the 30 metre RSL Handicap and second in the 50 metre RSL Championship under 50 years. Our ten person relay finished third. Next years Carnival will be held in Condobolin.

Ladies Bowls
Results of Trophy Day played on Thursday were as follows.
Winners: Francis Cookson, Rose Davis and Regina Last. Runners-up: Colleen Forby, Delma Gersbach and Myrtle Lee. On Sunday morning Pennants practise will be played at 8.30am. All players have been notified so please turn up by 8am. First Pennants match will be played at Dubbo Railway on Saturday, March 3. Time of pick-up and cars to be organised on Sunday.
