Andrew Barton "Banjo" Paterson, was an Australian bush poet, journalist and author. He wrote many ballads and poems about Australian life, focusing particularly on the rural and outback areas. Paterson's most notable poems include Waltzing Matilda, The Man From Snowy River and Clancy Of The Overflow.
Yeoval Memorial Hall will be holding a concert to celebrate Banjo's birthday featuring Anne Kirkpatrick, daughter of Slim Dusty. Come along to enjoy listening to Banjo's poetry put to music, a sausage sizzle before the show and supper at intermission.
