Banjo Paterson birthday concert
Andrew Barton "Banjo" Paterson, was an Australian bush poet, journalist and author. He wrote many ballads and poems about Australian life, focusing particularly on the rural and outback areas. Paterson's most notable poems include Waltzing Matilda, The Man From Snowy River and Clancy Of The Overflow.
Yeoval Memorial Hall will be holding a concert to celebrate Banjo's birthday featuring Anne Kirkpatrick, daughter of Slim Dusty. Come along to enjoy listening to Banjo's poetry put to music, a sausage sizzle before the show and supper at intermission.

Come along and help Brad Fittler, Danny Buderus and other NRL players lay the turf at Kennard Park. Enjoy a free community BBQ, meet the players and be on the Footy Show.
The challenge has been set - Walgett laid their turf in one hour and 27 minutes but Wello can beat that!
