Information boards, installed by NSW TrainLink, will contain detailed station and community maps along with timetables, emergency contacts, locations of amenities and other items of interest.
Member for Dubbo, Troy Grant said the boards contained information unique to the station’s location.
“When people visit our region we want them to feel at home straight away and being able to navigate the area, will help them do just that,” Mr Grant said. “The posters contained with the boards are unique to each station and makes it easy to locate the most interesting locations of both Dubbo and Wellington.”
NSW TrainLink engaged a heritage consultant to ensure the design of the fixtures was in keeping with the station’s existing features.
