Country girls match it with city

Wellington’s Under 14 girls’ touch football team finished just shy of a win at the Northern Beaches Renegades Carnival last week.

The team defeated St George and Darlingford, before being defeated by Manly. Coach, Alistaire Thompson, said it was an awesome effort by the team who have proven they can match it with Sydney teams.
