A great number of players turned up to play on Saturday, but before long many were drenched whilst four wise players (as they advised) waited to see if the rain was setting in.
The wash out has meant the Soldiers Memorial Club “Medal Of Medals” Final will now be played this week along with Round 7 of the Keirle’s Pharmacy Summer Competition.
Players please note the Event is also “an Individual Stroke” not Stableford as mentioned in the Program booklet.
Saturday also sees the Club’s AGM and Presentation Evening commencing at 6pm, where it is hoped many Members, their families and friends will be in attendance.
The evening will also see the drawing of the “Mower” Raffle which was kindly donated by Rex England.

Keirle’s Pharmacy Summer Competition Draw for Round 7 is:- Mixtures v Maulers; Old Masters v Maurie’s Mates doing Duty; Pheonix v The Hogs; Von Zipper v Dirt Diggers; Goodsorts v The Bye; Soldiers Club v Killer Watts; Printers v Bak/Cusacks.
Thirty-one players took to the course for Thursday’s twilight competition, with Chica McCarroll recording 28pts.
The Mystery Hole Jackpotted, with the Course Rating 35.
