A number of community members attended the commemorative service.
Meanwhile, a small crowd gathered at the newly-restored Stuart Town War Memorial on Saturday morning to pay their respects to the fallen.
The former Stuart Town Anzac Committee officially unveiled the memorial gates during the commemorative service.
Those who attended also enjoyed the family day with a two kilometre walk, Golden Oldies Cricket match and 2-up at the Ironbark Inn.
