Wellington Rotary in conjunction with the Wellington Times are calling on the town’s keenest gardeners to enter this year’s garden competition.
In previous years between 15 and 20 gardens have been entered into the competition which is being held later than usual due to seasonal conditions.
Garden competition coordinator, Geoff Plasto, said it is a great opportunity for residents to show-off their garden with the potential to win a prize.
“Because they do so much work on their gardens during the year they should get some recognition,” he said.
“It is a great opportunity to show-off your garden.”
Entry forms will be available in the Wellington Times from October 18, ahead of judging in early November.
