Residents make a splash

Nothing quite symbolises the end of winter like the opening of the public swimming pool. And with that, residents pulled on their togs and made a splash on Saturday as the Wellington Pool opened its gates for the 2017/18 swimming season. A good crowd of keen swimmers swarmed to the venue where they soaked up the spring sunshine ahead of some much-needed rain the following day.
