St Mary’s may have been a good three-years in age below the competition, but that did not stop the blue and gold attitude giving their best all day and scoring some great tries.
St Mary’s competed against teams from Dubbo, Mudgee, Forbes and Dunedoo.
St Mary’s sports coordinator Alistaire Thompson said competing against these schools was a great hit-out and training.
“A lot more competitions are on the calendar for St Mary’s.
“We have a number of our players who will be competing in representative teams mid way through this term.
“We have Lilly Clarke, Bonnie Sheridan, Emily Smith, Bridgette Carney, Daniel Keirle, Airlie Mason and Max Mason who will travel to Port Macquarie to compete in the NSW Polding Trials.
“Ella James and Sam McCarroll competing at the NSW CCC Trials held in Dubbo on May 24.
“When our represenatives return we will have a primary gala day as well as the year 7-8 Regional Carnivals this term and next term, Quinn Cup at Lake Burrendong and the ever popular Don Green Local Derby against Wellington High School.”
