Hospital air-conditioning ‘undergoing repairs’

The Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) has shipped in portable air-conditioners to the Wellington Hospital after the general air-conditioning system broke down.

A spokesperson from the WNSWLHD said the system is being worked on.

“The general air conditioning unit at the Wellington Health Service is undergoing repair, however there is fully functioning portable air conditioning for the current 13 acute care beds.

“The Western NSW Local Health District is closely monitoring the situation to ensure the safety and health of patients and staff,” they said.
