A tradesman accused of the kidnap and sexual assault of a young girl is facing two further charges related to producing child abuse material.

A total of seven charges against the 55-year-old were mentioned in Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday.
Police allege a tradesman who was working on a house at Wellington persuaded an eight-year-old girl to get into his vehicle about 12.30pm on December 9.
The man was arrested and charged with five offences that day including aggravated sexual assault, take person intent to commit serious indictable offence, procure child less than 14 years to produce child abuse material and produce child abuse material.
The man was refused bail and remanded in custody.
A further related charge of procure child less than 14 years to produce child abuse material and of produce child abuse material were mentioned on Wednesday.
The accused faced court via video link and there was no application for bail.
The matter is listed for mention at Dubbo Local Court on April 11.
