BOWLS
WEDNESDAY: Ten Bowlers took to the Greens in last Wednesday’s Jackpot Bowls. Winners on the day were Glen Porter, Jason Cornish & Terry Dray who defeated Mo Clare, Ray Gersbach & Ron Oxenham 23 - 15 runners up were Don Graham & Richard Carpenter who defeated Frank Gersbach & Peter Baker 17–15.

The Jackpot was not won. Peter Baker won the Raffle.
Jackpot Bowls are on again today (Wednesday) names in by 1pm for 1.30pm start.
PRESENTATION DAY: Sunday December 17 is Presentation Day.
Bowls will commence at 10.30am and conclude at 12pm followed by barbecue Lunch & Presentation. Cost for day is yet to be determined by the Board.
Names to be in by Friday December 15 – Sheet on Notice Board.
Nominations close today Wednesday December 13 - for three selectors, a sheet is on the Notice board for this purpose.
2018 PENNANTS: Our Club will be playing in the Grade 6 Competition in 2018.
A list of eligible members is on the Notice Board. Members are asked to indicate their availability for the 2018 Pennant season that commences on Sunday 4 March 2018.
BUSINESS HOUSE BOWLS: Results of round nine of the Business House Bowls play last Tuesday are as follows:

Last night was the Final Round for 2017. The competition will resume in the new year.

Ten members faced the starter in last Tuesday’s point score. Colin Sheridan took out the 30 metre event being 0.07 outside his nominated time, while Wayne Rich returned to the winners circle taking out the taking out the 50 metre event being 0.12 outside his nominated time. Xandah Edwards & Bonni Sheridan won the Junior events. Lilly Sheridan & Nick Knowles combined to win the Brace Relay being 5.57 outside their time.
75 on Arthur Monthly Point Score for November were taken out by Janelle Frappell & Nick Knowles.

Members are asked to indicate their intentions in relation to competing in these Championships. A sheet is available at the Tuesday barbecue.
For Junior Members to compete a senior family members must also compete on the night.
To become a member you need to be a member of the Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club as we are a Club within that Club.
With revised conditions re the use of the Pool it is requested that members make an effort to be at the pool by 5.45pm to enter in events.

WELLINGTON SOLDIERS MEMORIAL CLUB
Round 6 of the Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club darts competition was played Sunday with a much larger field of dart players on hand.
There were plenty of high scores hit as well, do if your doing nothing next Sunday come along and watch the best dart players in town play and if you don't believe them just ask them.
Round 7 will be played this Sunday kicking off at Midday, this will be the final round prior to Christmas, round 8 will be played on January 7.
Round 6 winner was again Carl Ludwig but the field is starting to work him out.
The top 2 players look safe to finish in the top 4, but the rest of the positions are still up for grabs.
Top 8 after six rounds:
Carl Ludwig on 37pts, David Wilson 25pts, Eugene Spicer 18pts, Jason Robbins 15pts, Kevin Baker 14pts,Wendy Wilson 10pts, Kirsty Watts 7pts, Teena Hill 7pts and there are plenty of players just sitting out side of the top 8.

Athletics
Fourteen members of Wellington Little Athletics have qualified for Region after competing at Narromine recently.
The athletes will compete across 40 different events at the Regional Carnival in Dubbo over February 3 and 4, 2018.
