Only ten Bowlers took to the Greens in last Wednesday’s Jackpot Bowls. Winners on the day were Glen Porter & Richard Carpenter who defeated Frank Gersbach & Jason Robbins 15 - 12, runners up were Jason Cornish, Ray Gersbach & Ron Oxenham who defeated Don Graham, John Gersbach & Bill Meharg 16 - 15
The Jackpot was not won. Don Graham won the Raffle.
Jackpot Bowls are on again today (Wednesday) names in by 1.00pm for 1.30pm start.
PRESENTATION DAY
Sunday 17 December is the tentative date for Presentation Day. The format of the day is yet to be determined. Nominations are now being called for three Selectors, a sheet is on the Notice board for this purpose.
2018 PENNANTS
Our Club will be playing in the Grade 6 Competition in 2018. A list of eligible members is on the Notice Board. Members are asked to indicate their availability for the 2018 Pennant season that commences on Sunday 4 March 2018.

Round 5 of the Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club darts competition was played last Sunday with a small field of dart players on hand to play, maybe this week there will be an increase with names to be in by midday.
Round 5 winner was Carl Ludwig again and he now has a big lead over the field, but remember its the top 8 that play off for the prize. Didn't forget you Richard Kent as he hit the 2nd 180 of the competition.
Point score top 8 after 5 rounds see's Carl Ludwig on 29 pts, Eugene Spicer 18pts, David Wilson 18pts, Jason Robbins 8pts, Kevin Baker 7pts,Wendy Wilson 7pts, Kirsty Watts 5pts. High scores were.Richard Kent 180, 124, 6x100, Carl Ludwig 3x140, 125, 10x100, Kevin Baker 133, 121, 100, Eugene Spicer 132, 121, 109, 4x100, Tenna Hill 105, 2x100. Men’s went to Richard Kent with 75.
Come along and play this week as I keep saying there are still plenty of weeks to make the top 8, so hopefully we will see an influx of darters this Sunday.

Sixteen members faced the starter in last Tuesday’s point score. Jenny Bourke had her first swim of the season. Janelle Frappell continued her great form by taking out the 25 metre event being 0.09 outside her nominated time. Nick Knowles also continued his form taking out the 50 metre event being 0.16 outside his nominated time. Xandah Edwards & Isaiah Hill won the Junior events. Bonny Sheridan & Nick Knowles combined to win the Brace Relay being 2.07 outside their time.

Members are asked to indicate their intentions in relation to competing in these Championships. A sheet is available at the Tuesday BBQ.
For Junior Members to compete a senior family members must also compete on the night. To become a member you need to be a member of the Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club as we are a Club within that Club.
With revised conditions re the use of the Pool it is requested that members make a effort to be at the pool by 5.45pm to enter in events.
