It is the second time the school has hosted the event which this year attracted 140 people including parents, carers, grandparents and staff.
Head of School, Sarah Strahorn, said she has received lots of positive feedback about the food and atmosphere of the event.
“The idea behind the long table was simple and lovely; to create a beautiful space for our school family to come together to connect,” she said.
“We have the most wonderful community at Wellington Christian School.
“People from all different walks of life who on Friday night met on common and equal ground to be together, appreciate each other and get to know each other a little bit more.
“It is worth noting that the essence of Friday night, is seen and felt in many different ways on any given day at school.
“Good community is not just a one off, it is an atmosphere you live and operate in.”
