Wellington Golf Club saw a good field of 45 golfers hit the fairways last Saturday with an Individual Stableford being played as well as Round 3 of the Keirle’s Pharmacy Summer Competition with the Whale Family sponsoring the day in memory of their father Don.

The Annual General Meeting and Presentation are coming up on Saturday the 9th of December and nomination forms for the Board are available on the notice board.
Winner from last Saturday was Luke Milgate who conquered the course easily with 40 points.
Runner up on a count back was John South well who finished with 39 points.
Ball competition winners were Luke Milgate 40 points, John Southwell 39 points, Tim Parker 39 points, David Sears 39 points, Gary Cusack 38 points, Brian Kiss 38 points.
Whale/Arnold Trophy – Don’s Grandson “Mark” won the trophy this year.
Ron Stubblefield Toyota Terrific Tee Shot on the third went to David Sears 430 ctms, on the eighth it went to Gary Cusack 75 ctms, on the 14th it went to Brian Kiss 450 ctms, on the 16th it went to Mitchell Cusack.
Gersbach's Mechanical nearest the pin in two shots on the seven went to Mitchell Cusack.
McDonald's Biggest Whack in A grade went to Russell Gersbach and in B grade it went to Brian Kiss.
NFI encouragement award went to Peter Bryant who managed only 25pts.
KEIRLE'S Pharmacy Sumner competition results from Round 3 saw Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club defeat Von Zipper three up.
Old Masters defeated Printers two up. The Bye defeated Maurie's Mates three up. Montefiores Maulers defeated Killer Watts two up. Hogs defeated Dirt Diggers three up. Bakers/Cusack's defeated Phoenix four up and Goodsorts defeated Mixtures one up.
Draw for Round 4 see's Mixtures taking on Von Zipper, Goodsorts take on Phoenix, Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club take on Old Masters, Montefiore's Mauler take on Baker/Cusack's, Printers take on Maurie's Mates, Killer Watts take on Hogs, Dirt Diggers take the Bye and the starters this week are the Bye.
Raffle winner was Nic Whale with John Gersbach winning the schooner.
This Saturday is an “Individual Stroke Event” along with the Keirle’s Pharmacy Summer Teams Competition followed by Sunday’s Cusack’s Butchery Foursomes Championships.
The Championships are being held over 27 Holes Event with the Tee opening from 9am to 10.30am.
