Around 250 people filled the school’s hall for Tuesday’s matinee and Thursday’s main performance of The Case of the Missing School.
Assistant principal, Leanne Clarke, said roughly 120 students took part in the performance in what was a “whole school effort”.
“We were searching for something a little bit different, and for something we could involve students in from Kindergarten to Year 6 – we tried to involve the whole school,” she said.
“It was great having every single child performing up there and they were all so excited, the enthusiasm was incredible.
“It’s interesting because a lot of the children we scripted into roles we never would’ve imagined they would’ve had the confidence and the belief in themselves to perform, some of the little ones really excelled.”
Leanne thanked the Wellington community for its support.
